John Edwards for President, 2004!

Although Senator John Edwards has not confirmed his candidacy for President of the United States of America in 2004, rumors state it as fact. Frankly, we here at the Greensboro, NC Democrats see him as our prime choice for President.

Senator Edwards has clearly shown that he will fight to save schools, improve health care, protect privacy, preserve our environment, stand up for seniors, support our military, and strengthen criminal justice and the court system.

Senator Edwards proposed the Airport and Seaport Terrorism Prevention Act on 9/14/2001 and the Spyware Control and Privacy Protection Act of 2000 on 10/6/2000.

Senator Edwards also has cosponsored several important bills including one with Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) for the Patients Bill of Rights.

In the 2000 election, John Edwards was considered by Albert Gore, Jr. as his running mate.
